College of Social Work|  Department of Health Services Policy and Management 

The Department of Health Services Policy and Management and the College of Social Work offer a coordinated program that leads to a dual degree. Some courses do fulfill requirements for both portions of the dual degree. A dual degree program thus typically requires fewer semester hours in total than if the two programs were taken separately.

Degree Requirements (87 Hours)


1st Year Fall Semester: Social Work Foundation (15 Hours)


1st year Spring Semester: Social Work (15 Hours)


1st year Summer: Public Health (9 Hours)


2nd Year Fall Semester: Public Health (12 Hours)


2nd Year Spring Semester: Public Health (12 Hours)


3rd year Fall Semester: Social Work Advanced (12 Hours)


3rd year Spring Semester: Social Work Advanced (12 Hours)
